Looking for some volunteers 16yrs+ to assist with the construction and painting of our set for "Sondheim on Sondheim." No experience necessary.

Open Board Member Position
Fundraising and Grants Manager
We are continually seeking dedicated individuals to join our team so we can intentionally utilize our collective wisdom, experience, energy and resources to create exceptional community theatre in Howard County.
The heart of that passion begins with our Board of Directors, and we are currently in need of a Fundraising/ Grants Manager to join our Board in its mission.
Our Board is made up of a collaborative group of 12 Volunteers who work together to facilitate our productions and run the organization. As a Board Member you will have the opportunity be in on the ground floor for all of the strategic planning and development that goes into Silhouette Stages, Inc., as well as Managing an area of expertise. Our Board meets monthly to discuss upcoming productions, budgets, best practices, marketing, community outreach and more.
Fundraising/ Grants Manager responsibilities include:

Serving as the primary point of contact for any issues related to grants, fundraising, donations, and corporate sponsorship.

Responsible for the drafting and submission of grants and fundraising requests, including submission of applications, response to interim requests, and final reports.

Review potential new opportunities for grants, donations, and sponsorships for Silhouette Stages.

Represent Silhouette Stages at any grant award ceremonies or similar events.

Ensure that donations are made to support local charitable organizations.

Communicate regularly with donors, grantors, and corporate sponsors, including grant and sponsorship acknowledgements.

Report to the Board of Directors on a regular basis to give an update on fundraising activity.
