Director Submissions
Season 22: 2026-2027

We are now accepting applications to direct at Silhouette Stages for the 2027 season!  Registration will be open from July 1 through July 14. We are looking for directors who:

  • Have at least 5-10 years of experience as director or producer at the community or educational level (including experience as assistant director)

  • Have a detailed resume with at least two references

  • Have experience with managing a budget and production team 

  • Have availability for the production calendars 

Production timeframes for each show are as follows:

  • Show One: November 2026 thru March 2027 (performances in March)

  • Show Two: March through June (performances in June)

  • Show Three: July through October (performances in October)

If candidates do not meet the minimum criteria, their application may be withdrawn.

Interviews will be conducted in mid-late July (scheduled for Wednesday, July 29 at Slayton House.)

If you are notified for an interview, please come prepared to discuss a pitch for a show of your choice, in addition to a pitch for one of the following works:

  • Rent

  • Something Rotten

  • Mamma Mia

  • Romeo and Juliet
