-Starting July 28th; Sunday, Tuesday & Thursday Evenings
-Will be held at St John’s Lutheran Church in Linthicum Heights, Covenant Baptist Church in Ellicott City and/or Slayton House in Columbia.

-Please arrive 10-15 min prior to your time slot to fill out all required paperwork. Late arrivals may not be able to be accommodated.
- Audition forms will be available at the door.
- Bring a copy of your theatrical resume & headshot.
- Prepare 32 bars of a song in the style of the show that shows off your vocal and acting talents (Approximately 30-45 seconds of music).
- Please do NOT audition with any song from She Loves Me.
- No acapella auditions, or recorded tracks will be allowed.
- Please arrive dressed and ready for a dance combination.
- All ages, sizes, ethnicities, and gender identities are encouraged to audition.
- Prepare to list major conflicts from August 2019 - October 2019.

ALL ROLES OPEN, Non-Union/Non-Paid: We are in search of multi-ethnic and talented cast of actors, singers, and dancers for this exciting musical production. We are looking to cast 17-20 individuals.

Amalia Balash: Female 20 - 35
Vocal range: Coloratura Soprano (C4-B5) The eager new employee at Maraczek's Parfumerie. Despite being a skilled saleswoman, she easily becomes intimated and nervous. Attractive, bright, and a lover of literature.

Georg Nowack: Male 25 - 35
Vocal range top: Baritone (B2-F4); An established employee of Maraczek's Parfumerie, he resembles a hopeless romantic. Shy, intelligent, and soft spoken.

Ilona Ritter: Female 25 - 35
Vocal range: Mezzo-Soprano w/ strong belt (F#3- E5); Employed at Maraczek's Parfumerie. She is sexy and learned in the ways of romance but longing for something more from the game of love.

Steven Kodaly: Male 25-35
Vocal range: Lyric Tenor (B2-A4); A well respected and liked employee at Maraczek's Parfumerie. Though he is considered dapper and occasionally charming, he is more of a shallow womanizer.

Mr. Maraczek: Male 55 - 65
Vocal range: Baritone (B2-C4); Owner of Maraczek's Parfumerie. With a commanding presence, his dedication to the trade is rivaled only by his faithfulness to his wife.

Ladislav Sipos: Male 45 - 55
Vocal range: Baritone (A2-E4); Not the brightest employee at Maraczek's Parfumerie. A confidant to Georg, he is an optimistic family man who looks like a huggable father.

Arpad Laszlo: Male 14 - 17
Vocal range: Baritone (Bb2 - E4); Delivery boy at Maraczek's Parfumerie. His exuberance is infectious and commitment to his job remarkable. He is ambitious and adorable.

Headwaiter: Male or Female 25 – 55
Vocal range: Alto/Tenor (E3-B4); Maître D' at the Café Imperial. Tasked with maintaining a “romantic atmosphere” to hilarious effect.

Busboy: Female or Male 16-25
Vocal range: any; Featured dancer. Can’t seem to hold onto his tray or keep himself from dancing.

Ensemble: Male & Female 20-60
Six individuals will be cast as ensemble and various featured roles; seeking strong singers in all voice parts; dance skills required. The individuals will also be part of various scenes in supporting rolls, and as towns people, shop patrons, and dinner guests; we are hoping for individuals of various shapes, sizes & ethnicities.

Cabaret Night


Are you interested in performing at our next Cabaret Night on September 21 at 8:00pm at Slayton House? If so, please fill out an application to perform no later than August 31. We are seeking a variety of acts, such as singing, dancing, instrumental performance, juggling, comedy, etc. We’ll be limiting the show to 20 Acts, so please get your application in early! And this time around, we’re looking for more group Acts, so we’ll be giving preference to those with 2 or more people.

  • ACCOUNTING AND/OR FINANCIAL PLANNING: Seeking volunteer member of the Silhouette Stages Board of Directors to start as soon as possible; must have background in accounting, finance, and/or tax preparation; will be responsible for tax filings, budgetary matters, and financial planning.
